Since it will come up here for those who do not know E was diagnosed with SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder). I didn't want it treated like a secret becuase it isn't but it does affect our daily lives and I am sure will be a topic here. If you want to learn more check out the link below.

So - how did you get to that test? Did you nkow something was up, was she not doing well in school, can you look back and know that you always knew something was up, just never knew quite what?
ReplyDeleteKids do amazing things to us, don't they? They have a way of making our greatest joy a reality while making our greatest fears (in this case the "something's wrong with my kid" fear!) not so scary at all.
We did the testing through the school system. I have known that she was different from most kids from the time she was a baby. She had been tested and evaluated for all sorts of different things and nothing ever fit. It is actually great to know what is going on with her and that we can do something to help her.
